Parked at Stowe Church. A local resident told us ti ignore the sign " Church Use Only". Straightforward ascent by well trodden paths.

Nice walk up from Stow Church a bit steep in places. Lots of Ravens, Buzzards, Red Kites, Partridges in the area. Pheasant feeders everywhere along the route.

Very pleasant but steep walk through pheasant rearing country. From Church. Pillar in good condition with metal plug and faded white paint. Base coming exposed

4th pillar of day. Left bike at Stow church and walked track/ROW past Holloway Rocks to pillar. An excellent day to be cycling and the short walks up to the pillars.

Great view from the top of all surrounding hills but it will be the exquisite walk up on the track past Holloway Rocks that I'll remember this trig for.

Parked at Stowe Church, lovely 3 mile circular walk, suprisingly steep up past Holloway Rocks. Mostly on PROWs, short trespass across hillside pasture to trig. Pillar's white coat no longer pristine, but better than most. Original cap with lightly indented lettering; rear sight hole only open; concrete base becoming exposed. Extensive views N, E & S; W obscured by fir plantation.

From Stowe village on bridal ways. trig pristine white. Trees to N and W. Caer Caradoc to NE. Knighton in view on descent. St Michaels church dressed for wedding ITA, flowers, sheaves and hops.

Two trigs from one stop!! Parked on the verge of the minor road at Five Turnings and took the bike out for the 3.5km ride to this Trig. Very mudddy in initial climb but OK once on the ridgeline. Trig still as others have found it with reasonable local views.
