Just along the road and opposite Coachouse Motors hidden in the hedge. Finally found it and cleared it a little.

Pulled in to entrance to lorry park or something on west side of road opposite farm entrance. Hoped not much activity on Good Friday. Walked north along the lane for about fifty metres, spotted pillar on east side of road on plinth in hedge. Covered in ivy and other bushes closing in on it. Chipped top, presumably hedge cutting machinery, spider and plastic cap in place. Farmland views. Couple of cars went past while I was trying to tidy up a bit and clear soil from plinth. Needed more time and proper tools.

Good verge parking 100m N along road. Pillar sits high on a hedge bank, dwarfed by the surrounding vegetation and silently noting all the vehicles that rush past it without even the courtesy of a nod. Cleared a fair bit of vegetation away from it to find a significant amount of flailer damage to the top. Centre cap missing, replaced with a composite disc. Sight holes not checked.

Hidden in a hedgerow, just visible from roadside across from MOT garage. Almost totally covered in ivy but flush plate very visible.

Roadside, hidden in tall hedge, cleared at front so number easy to see. Couldn't see top, Ross climbed up to feel it, plug missing. No views now because of hedges.Nearby garage had a couple of interesting vintage vehicles including an old bus which the owner uses as his festival bus.

With Singing Friends to whom the great outdoors is a foreign land. So this wasn't a great example with which to introduce them to the delights of trig collecting! On top of very high bank and difficult to find (E bank of road to save you also searching the other side). FB just visible through the nettles and ivy and what we could see of rest of pillar looked in reasonable condition.
