Was in a bit of a rush to bag as many as I could before the sun went down, and if I'd researched this one better beforehand I'd have brought the bush-saw I carry in the back of the van with me to this one; regretted not having the time this evening to go traipsing back to the van to get it. As has been noted below, could do with a spot of TLC...

2nd (and hardest) of 3 easy pillars in the late afternoon as I winded my way back north after Covid regulated Christmas with family, also stopping to see if I could see the humpback whale off Kinghorn. Parked at entrance to Tyrie farm, walked back along road as fields all ploughed and planted and wanted shortest route of muddy field edge. Would not like to tackle bramblely covered wall or tree around pillar in summer. Did not note condition of pillar, seemed relatively good given attack by tree. Reasonable views South over the Forth with Bass Rock and Berwicl Law visible to the east. Took a ton of mud back to car on shoes.

Unexciting one this (unlike the football later) set in a field corner in a grabbing hedge. Asphalt-filled plug, and didn't have time to determine the state of the sight-holes: a 'rockery' is set around the pillar, and I was in a rush to get to Starks Park in time for the kick-off.
