Was in the area in September last year and the road from the south west was closed. This time after passing through Upper Winchendon, road begins to lose height then about 100 metres further on, opposite entrance to stables on north side of road turned into lane on south side of road. Past a few houses on left, pulled over on verge near trees at high point of lane. Gate on north side onto footpath. About twenty five metres on south side of path in bushes is a small cutting to the pillar. FB faces south so clambered over wooden fence to photograph from that side. Spider and cap in place. Well done to whoever made the FB free from wires. Good views to east and south.

Parked on Lane off Waddesdon Hill. Wide grass verge where Swans Way crosses Lane. Trig is hard to find, buried in hedge, managed it with a it of good peering!

Went the wrong way up the bridleway as previous baggers did… found it, but had to retrace my steps for the FB. Made difficult by the crops, but I was determined!

Parked on minor road to the S, then along PRoW - except the trig is on the E side to the thick blackthorn hedge, so we had to re trace our steps & cross the hedge near the road. trig behind a wire fence, but reachable.

Again, I tip my hat to Vegibagger for enabling me to access this trig. You are worthy of laudation. Hedge dwelling pillar with FB facing the wrong way if you access it from the footpath. Fence appears to have had some surgery since FB was last photographed. Horses in field on bracket-side were very curious about the strange fellow invading their field, and wandered over to ask if I had anything for them. (I didn't.) Beautiful creatures; very friendly.

Hill summit and yet another totally invisible trig from either side of wide, high, dense blackthorn hedge. GPS would've been helpful if I had one but tpuk app trig symbol combined with location indicator man on the map eventually gave me location to start slow process of mega lopping and secateur work on the Eastern side of hedge to release it from imprisonment. Another one from the Rob Woodhall Birthday Trig Walk of Life set.

Business trip to Aylesbury in the morning, so a shame to waste a good trigging opportunity. This one relatively easy, but being engulfed in new hedge - fortunately a faint trigger's path gave the location away. Fine views through the hedge across the Vale of Aylesbury. All s/holes buried, FB very tricky to access, filled cap, otherwise vgc.

This was a bonus trig today - the 4th out of 5. We arrived at Waddesdon Manor with the dog needing a walk and the N Bucks/Swans/Midshires Way obligingly took us in a lovely gentle yomp up from the NT CP. Excellent long dist views E over Aylesbury.

Walked up from busy A41, found trig sat in gap in hedge, nice view back to Aylesbury and the Chilterns where we walked earlier that day. Onwards to Quainton Hill trig!

Short walk from roadside along Midshires Way. Pillar VGC with original cap in place, lightly indented lettering; RHD side sight hole open. FB hard against stock fence on E side RoW, access into field necessary to photograph it. 360deg views, a little limited to SW.

Quick bag at the end of a bitterly cold winters day. Easy access. TP had two frozen shoes on it when found. Attractive spot but views guessed at rather than seen - lost in freezing winter dusk.

Easy access alongside an attractive section of the Midshires Way between Eythorpe and Waddesdon. Good views to the north, east and south.

An easy-access pillar just off a lane and on the side of the Swans Way path. All intact - plug with slightly-indented letters. Traces of paint. All sightholes closed. Lovely views in all directions except W, over The Chilterns, surrounding farmland and Aylesbury. Buzzard and red kite circling around. Lovely spot!

Really nice views from the TP but unfortunately you can't easily view the flush bracket without sticking your head through the wire fence.

Unpainted pillar in long grass beside wire fence at edge of field. Short walk from picnic spot beside minor road, where a gooseberry bus was growing - fortunately nothing under this to expand the family further.
