Pillar here went in June 1967, replaced by a surface block. The block has exact same coords and computing date as the pillar, so assumption could be made that the SB bolt is the upper bolt of the pillar, except that it's a completely different bolt from a that used for pillars. Anyway, it's there, on the surface with the grass encroaching.

Log #340. Parked at Soame Bridge to the south-west. Road marked as closed, with a massive diversion along Meanrs Rd and the A77. Plenty of traffic though, so I had to be careful as I walked along up the road to the mast, then took an untracked route NW up the hill to the pillar site. There is a grassy track, which I only found at the last minute. Small memorial cairn to be found next to block. Scorching day, and got buzzed by a Lamborghini on the way back. Didn't realise I was so close to the Lochgoyne monument, will need to go back for that at some point. [ExP-244/MiP-31/Rev-2/BM-22/IS-31/Other-10]
