Climbed over fence to right of main gate then used track up to waterworks fence. Followed fence around to Left and around to rear of waterworks. Trig within compound of waterworks and not accessible but visable.

Had to fight for this one. Track barred, so I struggled over the 'gate' to the right, though holly bushes, then up the track. No way I was going to scale the fence like the previous log! Went round the south side via the field where I could get a line of sight, standing on a rail. Not good for an old man! By Keith for HCU3A

The sign at the start of the track up to it the resivoir says no public access. Managed to squeeze the van to one side so not blocking anything. Then put on my boots and high vis jacket and walked up to the compound like i was meant to be there. The south corner of the compound has a man gate which was easier to climb over (remove vis jacket for this bit though:o)).

Parked on Audlem Road. The path that leads to the reservoir was completely closed off. Hence, climbed over the gate into the field next to the path, and then walked up to the reservoir and the pillar. Nearby on London Road in Woore Village, is an old school which has now been converted into a private residential house. On the left hand front wall of the house, there is a flush bracket.

Parked at entrance gates to track leading to reservoir. The gates were open and as I walked up the lane I could see two vehicles at the reservoir. On asking the two workmen for permission to access the trig point to take photos the their answer was a definite no, but then one offered to take me round to the trig while I took my photos. Many thanks. The reservoir now has a new high security perimeter fence.

parked at the start of the fp, made my way up the field and had to cross two lots of barbed wire and a final fence,would have been easier to take the metal gate on the right before starting the fp, this cuts out having to cross any barbed wire,pillar sits on top of the res

very unusual here, two blokes working at the resr let me in no problem but were leaving so they locked me in, that's a first for me.

Parked to North East on bend. Easily found along track. Felt very visible so quick in and out. Decent views

I traipsed across empty pastures from the RoW to the East, having to clamber over a couple of gates. No problems getting into the reservoir complex over a low metal railing fence. Good views.

Through hole in railings just left of entrance gate, then up lane. Bushes that appear in photos as recently as 2013 all gone. Large ash tree at S corner of compound has a stainless steel plaque, probably damaged by mowing machine.

As others before us, parked at gate, wriggled through gap and walked up the track. Past two PRIVATE signs and up the steps at the front of the reservoir. Trig sat on top. Nice views.

3/5 If only other reservoirs were as easy, even the gate was unlocked! Parked in the gate and wriggled through the square opening on the left hand side of the gate. The path had snow upto a foot deep in places but the view was superb from the pillar which sits right on the edge of the reservoir.

Detour off the footpath; easy access apart from needing to crawl under the electric fence. Plug missing but fixing screws still in place. Dull and drizzly - no views.

Unusually, this pillar is in an unfenced North West Waterboard area with full public access, reached by a footpath from the road. The plug is missing but otherwise it's in good condition. No paint. SW sighthole open, others closed. Excellent views on the SE/S/SW/W/NW sightline to Welsh Hills and across Cheshire Plain.

Well my final Shropshire Pillar! Access from ROW to the NE then across two fields avoiding electric fence if you se it in time! There are superb views from up here and the resevoir is easily accessible.
