Easy ascent from the minor road to the west following trails through the heather to tumulus and trig.

Last for the day, light fading too. Brisk walk up from lane west where there is room to park. 10mins. Trig in a super location with great views all around. Spider, FB and cap in place.

Visited this one after checking out the remains of the Bluestone circle at Waun Mawn. Easy walk up from the mountain road. Amazing views on a lovely clear day.

Parking roadside due W at highest point on minor road. No paths - took direct line to trig over heather, gorse, long wet grass. Trig sits at hill summit atop larger of 2 barrows. Pillar has some screed missing form top surface exposing end of one spider arm, thus marked as 'slightly damaged', otherwise good; original cap in place, raised lettering; RHD side and rear sight holes open. Extensive panoramic all-round views.
