Lovely sunny day so drove up and parked in lay by. Through a fence and into field and along path that leads to three masts. Solar panels now in adjacent field and some high tech alarm systems that actually went off and gave us a pre recorded audio warning as we walked past and had me and my son laughing. Saw a friendly farmer who didn’t seem to care we were there and told us what area to head for the “stones”. Very overgrown field so walking up was a bit of a challenge. Saw first boundary stone about 200 metres from summit stone. Got to top and looked for depression and pleased when I found the stone pile. Removed some over growth and then the stones and soil and found the buried block. Replaced stones. Thanks to previous posters for all the info. Excellent.

Had a bit of nightmare getting here. Arrived into Crosskeys by train. Thought I would take the tracks up through the forest but there was forestry work going on so I kept having to tun back and decend. Eventually went up the mountain bike routes. Very steep - do they never go a gentle zig-zag route! Finfing the block was easy given Dusty's great work. I dug outwards to see if it is a concrete ring but I don't think it is - may be wrong. Went down an even steeper route. Legs shaking when I got down!

Adjacent to boundary stone at edge of patch of reeds. There is an obvious d depression full of stones. Left trowel in car but fortunately not needed!

13:03:2016 - Walked to location but did not try to dig it up. Nothing on surface. Returned today and after an hour digging a number of small holes I noticed a depression in reeds 1.5m from Boundary Stone. Under stones and soil was a nice small bolt on concrete block. Left with hole full of stones.

Parked near the ammeter radio mast, took in the cache and then up to the top. Found the boundary stone. Didn't trip over the buried block.
