Parked in large junction area at start of track. Followed that then RoW. Trig on opposite side of fence

Walked up along PROW, and then one small hop into trig field. Trig sat in pasture land. Trig is in good condition with spider, plug and FB intact.

Drove a muddy green lane south from Pantycelyn to park at SN 4970 2642. Field gate and pasture to trig. Pillar retains original centre cap, raised lettering; LHD side sight hole open. Extensive farmland views.

By time got here evening had arrived and the sky clouded over. Apart from the wind blowing there was not a sound; the landscape lost in the murk. It seemed a very lonely place.

Best parking on the northern end of the byway dont be tempted to drive down it. field gate option at the southern end but not ideal. roads further south very narrow and twisty
