Got off Wednesday 10th ferry at 21.35 S2710 on narrow cul de-sac road to the west. Spent night in pull in right next to pillar. Didn't see till morning how close, only 5-6 metres. Start of a nice geeky sequence of seven numbers I'd visit during the day... Some of them repeats And total of 11 on the 11th ..!

12/13 on a New Forest trigbagging weekend. This one is down a small road in Lymore. Space to park just by trig in passing place. Easily accessible in corn field behind tree up small bank. Lovely views over the Solent to IOW and the Needles. Trig is in good condition with spider and FB intact.

Heading west from Lymington on A337, turn left at Everton and keep left. Through Lymore, at a left hand bend (east) is an area to pull in. Pillar is up the bank behind a tree. As you reach the top of the bank, the view opens out across the field towards the Isle of Wight.

This Trig is on a raised bank above a passing place on Agarton Lane. Easy to find, although a little obscured from the road by foliage in the summer. Good views South over a wheat field towards the Isle of Wight.

No walking required for this one - in fact, I'm thinking of setting up a separate account here for my car, as she's bagged quite a few pillars now, too, including this one! Footpath sign to the right of the trig is bizarrely contradicted by a homemade sign to the left of it, saying Not A Footpath - Keep Out! Good condition pillar sitting atop fieldside embankment next to convenient parking place at bend in very narrow lane.

Last of the day having walked from Christchurch via the coast to Hurst Castle and Keyhaven. A short walk back to the car before nightfall.Lovely peaceful location at this time of the day with geese calling from nearby marshes and crows in the nearby trees.

Parked in new housing estate just off Milford main road and then a nice walk along the lanes to the TP. Despite being only at 12m surprisingly good views southwards. We could clearly see the IOW ferry leaving Yarmouth.

A solitary location with a low view of the Island across the fields; quite a 'glowering' scene before me today with lowering grey clouds scudding along with more than a hint of an autumnal rain squall imminent. Such an affecting day, with that lovely salty tang in the air, and this trigpoint to investigate.

An easy-access pillar, just off a dead-end lane with a useful layby right by it. The 0pillar stands on a small embankment on the edge of an arable field with good views E across to the Isle of Wight. The plug is missing but otherwise it's fine. E/W sightholes open; N sighthole closed and S sighthole invisible. No paint but a few white lichen circles. Nice spot.

Field edge right by roadside. Height of fields a bit above road level. Footpaths start from here so if you are lucky it has its own one space carpark! Very flat fields to S. Also western end of the Isle of Wight easily visible. Remnants of white paint on pillar. Plug missing, hole unfilled.

Wondered where I was going with this one. The GPS took me along a very narrow lane past a "No Through Road" sign. However, the trigpoint is located close to a small pull-in where you can park as well as turn round.
