Very easy access, near a mast with a track to it, then a quick hop over the gate into adjacent field. Inquisitive cows in next field came over to get in the photo.

Drove up to mast and crossed into field to the right at gate then walked to the corner, left to find trig, FB and spider in place cap gone. Initially thought this would have been in the field or boundary to the left from the map I had but no, in the right hand field across the road from mast. I should have scrolled in a little closer doing my research!

The Solva walk was shorter than others this week, but nice enough, and it did give me the opportunity to tick this one off as an afterthought. A really different feel. Actually parked the car on the road and walked the short distance to where cows were guarding a gate. I peered in dreading to see the pillar knee deep in poo with its bovine guard. Nothing to see. Then I spotted it in the OTHER field. A quick jump over the fence, (she daintily opened and closed it), and there we were. Now this trig point doesn't get a great press, but to be fair it's nice to have an easy one every now and again, and easy ones rarely have excellent sea viws.

Parked nearby. Trig in corner of field surrounded by cows and their 'produce'! As I was wearing sandles and didn't fancy slurry between my toes I observed the trig point from the track.

Not a very inspiring location, but it was a drizzly misty day. Viewed over the fence from the lane, didn't see the need to climb into or walk through the field.

Still drying out from a bog wander in the Presilli Hills a nice quick if nettled bag on the way to beautiful St David's Cathedral and the Bishops Palace. Same route as others, take road en route to Whitchurch from Solva then turn at high point towards mast.

Small access road off minor road can be driven down to reach trig which is hidden away in corner of pasture behind high field boundary banks. Access over gate and stock fence atop bank onto top of pillar - a little awkward but ok. Pillar has cap missing, no plug; 2 sight holes sealed, with rear and lefthand side holes undetermined. Fine 360deg views from atop the pillar - Ramsey, Skomer, Carn Llidi etc.

Easy to reach down little lane. Rather overgrown and hiding in a corner. Probably the least scenic of those I passed on the coast path.

Easy to drive right up to the mast close to the pillar's location. Some old fencing posts were strewn around and needed moving to get a reasonable view of the flush bracket. A very windy day.

I drove up track to radio mast which then gave easy gate access into the field in which the pillar is situated. In corner of field surrounded by detritus. The pillar itself is in good condition although the plug has gone missing leaving it open to the elements.
