The lighthouse at southern end of Lundy is not on Rat Island - which can be seen beyond the jetty in my photo. We spent 3 days on Lundy and swam with seals round Rat Island, this lighthouse is on the main part of the island although it is awkward to access it due to land slides. Lovely place, 3 days was plenty though - unless you just want to get away from it all, it feels remote and olde worlde.

Finishing the island circuit in time to catch the boat back to Bideford. MS Oldenburg very busy, sea very rough - an unpleasant return.
