Had a good look around, no sign of AS, there are lots of confusing radar domes on buildings and boats, going with destroyed for this one, off to the Golf Course to look for the replacement.

Relocated to the golf club when the ferry terminal was upgraded on 2014. There's an antenna of some sort on the other building here, but that's NOT the active station.

Position for Trig is now incorrect as it takes you to the new Ferry Terminal. The active station has been reinstated and is on the building at the end of the pier and can be clearly seen in the attached Photo.

I agree with CJO - the active station on the ferry terminal building has gone as a result of the rebuilding work, and has been replaced by the one on the golf club.

the ferry terminal is undergoing expansion works with the pier also being extended to accommodate new ferry. Active station appears to have been relocated to golf course some 2km away TP25713. Checking the earlier logs there seems to be some discrepancy of the location of the station. Gerryu2 has photo from the ice plant building. Clearly next time i'm passing i'll have another look...but the active station i logged several years back on the terminal building has gone

Still cordoned off due to work but you can see it from the road on the terminal building.

The co-ordinates NH 12765 93849 seem to point to a different Leica-dome looking object, on the structure by the loading ramp. Wish I'd got a photie as no-one except CJO seems to have mentioned this discrepancy.

on cal mac passenger terminal. I recall seeing something similar in the past on the ullapool harbour offices, this was before i even knew active stations existed. I checked GPS coordinates next morning and got NH12842 93894. Which appear different from official position

Ross and Cromarty. This is an active station on the current OS database and is attached to the roof of the ferry terminal building.

Found ourselves at this new active station on the ferry terminal building by chance - waiting for a taxi to take us to Inverness to collect a hire car after ours was fatally injured the evening before in a 'glancing collision with a frenchman'! I guess we should be grateful to Monsieur Suave then!
