Funny situation as I turned into the quiet road a group of runners were gathering about to go on an evening run. Think they thought I was about to join them. But told them I was driving up to the station easily seen through the fence.

Walked up from main road. Gates were open so strolled in for photo. Met large water tanker grinding up the hill as I walked down, so glad I hadn't driven up as others.

Inside water compound. The gates were open today. As it was very wet on the adjacent hills we called in an “early bath”, and so dropped others at accommodation and went off to bagg this.

Standard Leica unit located in Scottish Water's Killin Water Treatment Compound. Seems East of Scotland Water Company is now called Scottish Water - ah to have endless funds to chop and change names! Regarding access - from the eastern side of the compound the beacon is only a metre or 2 inside the fence, almost close enough to be touched (if one had long arms), therefore have classified this as 'good' as it can clearly be seen to be.

Perthshire. This is an active station on the current OS database. It is located in a water board compound in the woods south of the village of Killin. We went there in the rain and after a few attempts at finding the best viewing position, realised that it was not easy to see through the trees that surround the fenced compound. It is free standing and not attached to a roof of a building.
